SOTA - Something magical

I think Richard Garriott's SOTA has something which other games don't. Which is the absence of finite hard-caps in the game and the use-based character advancement system. There's something irresistible about being able to improve your character every time you play. Every time I log in, whether it is slaying monsters or mining, I know I am advancing my character in some way. This is what makes the game great to me.
